BoE: Mortgage approvals rise

The Bank of England reveal:

"Total net lending to individuals rose by £0.6 billion in March. The twelve-month growth rate was unchanged, at 0.9%..."

BSA: Gross lending at mutuals up 36% in March

According to the Building Societies Association:

"Gross lending by mutuals increased to £1,597 million in March, up 36% compared to £1,174 million in February. Approvals were also stronger at £1,677 million compared to £1,389 million in February - a 21% increase..."

BBA: UK march mortgage approvals rise 4.6%

The British Banker's Association reveal:

"4.5% annual growth in the banks' net mortgage lending substantially exceeds annual growth of just 1% across the whole market in February, as banks continue to provide the majority of all mortgage finance..."
