The National Association Estate Agents report that:

"Despite poor weather conditions throughout February, estate agents over the course of the month managed to increase the number of sales they agreed..."

Prime London prices peaking at spring 2008 levels

According to a number of estate agents:

"Larger houses of £5 million plus in Kensington, Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Mayfair are in some cases now selling at prices above those reached in Spring 2008..."

Revenues down 6%, say Rightmove

Rightmove announced their full year results for 2009:

"Revenues were down 6% as a result of estate agency branch closures in 2008. However, by the end of 2009 overall advertiser numbers had bounced back to show year-on-year growth of 6%. Rightmove's underlying operating profit grew slightly as a result of stringent cost management..."

NAEA: Positive start to 2010

The National Association of Estate Agents have released January's Market Housing Report where results show that estate agents over the course of the month managed to increase the number of sales they agreed, despite the unprecedented weather conditions:

"The number of house-hunters registered per branch increased from 251 in December to 291 in January..."
